Native Excavating

Situated along the slopes of the Steamboat Ski Resort, The Edgemont project, built for Atira, and under the supervision of GE Johnson Construction Company, is shaping up to be Steamboat's newest definition of luxury ski-in, ski-out living. Native Excavating has been the first contractor on the job, and will remain until the last load of topsoil is placed. The project itself has proven to be a challenge logistically, as the two primary buildings and seven townhomes all sit along the steep slopes of the Steamboat Ski Area. Multiple retaining walls, foundations, a 40,000yrd. fill and a 60,000yrd. export make up the bulk of the excavation needs.
